One Billion Dollars: The Price of A Name

by Tamera H. Bennettposted July 21, 2008

How much is it worth to your brand to spend One Billion Dollars for naming rights on a stadium? I think only you and your CFO can decide.

Here is a link to a video by AD AGE that provides a good overview of the stadium side of raising money through naming rights.

UPDATE: The link provided will default to the latest updated on the Ad Age website. To watch the video mentioned, once you jump out to the Ad Age site, scroll over the pictures to the right looking for a gentlemen and the text will pop up "Giant/Jets Stadium Naming."
